This year w il l begin after Ramadan and the Id el Fitr holiday on either the 14th or 15th of October. It is highly recommended to attend the first day of harvest where hundreds of fam il ies celebrate the start of the harvest season. As a result of our work and the volunteers who assist us and the decisions of the high court regarding the right of the Palestinian farmers to work their lands at any time, it is easier to work in areas adjacent to settlements then ever before. The army, police and civ il administration make special preparations in order to allow the harvest to go ahead without disturbance.
