The Olive Tree Movement

Dear all of you - good friends, perfect neighbors, and
beautiful people.
This week two kids will start an intensive
Hemato-oncology treatment at Hadassa-Ein-Kerem in
Jerusalem. The two families are from Palestine, one
from Hebron, the other from Ramalla.
Jmanna El-Phahoory is a two and a half years old baby
suffering from a rear bread of Leukemia. She comes
from a poor family living in the old sector of Hebron,
where the father, an experienced car mechanic, could
not find any work in recent months. The baby is in
the hospital right now, and will start her treatment
in two days.
Sallah Sheih is a 7 months baby boy from a family of 8
from the village of Biddo, also diagnosed with
Leukemia. His mother Sammah is with him in the
hospital right now awaiting the onset of his
treatment, leaving behind her at home her 5 other 5
kids. The stay is expected to last about a month, and
be in part a full scale treatment and care sessions,
and in part observation days.
We would like to try and save the parents staying
with the kids the daily hassles of going through the
road-blocks, and the one-way 150 NIS traveling
expenses, hence, finding them a temporary housing in
Jerusalem – perhaps even as guests with some family.
